CRISTOFARO BELLANTUONO

Born in Apulia, Italy, Cristofaro Bellantuono began his professional dance training at the age of six. Immersed in the rich cultural traditions of southern Italy, he developed an early and instinctive command of movement, rhythm, and expression that would define his career.

By thirteen, he was competing on the world stage — earning wins at some of the most prestigious ballroom competitions in existence. His competitive career brought him across Europe and beyond, where he refined his technique and developed a signature style that blends classical discipline with genuine artistic feeling.

At sixteen, Cristofaro began professionally training other dancers, discovering a gift for teaching that matched his talent as a performer. Four years later, he founded his first dance studio — turning a lifelong passion into a vocation and establishing himself as one of the most sought-after instructors in his region.

In 2022, he brought his artistry to New York City, joining the faculty of two of the largest corporate ballroom dance studios in the area. His impact was immediate: in 2023, he was recognized as one of New York State's top dance instructors — a distinction that reflects both his technical mastery and his ability to connect with students at every level.

He has since launched Bottega Bellantuono Ballroom Dance Studio in Chelsea, Manhattan — an intimate, high-caliber studio offering private lessons, workshops, and weekly group classes in a wide range of styles.
